How do I pay for soccer?

Paying online is strongly encouraged. If you would like to pay cash or would like more information please

contact us at our Email: info@mac-united.ca
Phone: +1 (403) 451-8861 Ext. 3

What equipment do I need?

An official “soccer kit” includes a jersey, shorts, socks and shin-guards.  Players may wear running shoes or cleats for footwear.  Team jerseys will be provided to wear during the games; U4 to U6 jerseys are provided by Tim Hortons and therefore MAC United will provide all the jerseys, shorts and socks from U7 to U19 teams.

U11+ players are required to get a CMSA card to allow them to play in CMSA regulated games. More information about CMSA cards will be communicated to parents.

Can I coach?

Yes! We are always in need of coaches.  As a club that values giving back to the community, we appreciate that parents volunteer with us.  This is also a good opportunity for the parents to spend good time with their kids on the pitch. The club will cover all the fees for training and any for any courses required by CMSA for parents to become coaches. Please email us at info@mac-united.ca if you are interested in becoming a coach.

Are spots limited?

Registration will be open until the end of March. We highly encourage parents to register their kids and pay the fees online as early as possible so we can register teams with CMSA.  If we don’t have enough players, then we won’t be able to make teams, register them with CMSA and start try-outs in a timely manner.

MAC United 4 Sisters

We will also have a special soccer program for girls called (MAC United 4 Sisters) where they will be playing soccer and attending a youth development program. Girls will participate in halaqas to help build their Muslim identity. This program allows for a safe space for girls to practice their soccer skills. Target ages are 10 to 15. More info regarding registration for the MAC United 4 Sisters program will follow!

How can I apply for subsidy?

To overcome any financial barriers that could prevent kids from playing an organized sport, great organizations like Kidsport offer assistance! Please check out Kidsport website for more info.  If you are eligible, you can apply online or fill out the hard copy attached. Parents are required to send in the form to Kidsport and to upload any necessary documents for the application.

Please note that you will be required to pay up front and then if you are eligible and we do receive the funds from Kidsport we will reimburse you.
