Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I register for soccer?

Registration and payment is online through TeamSnap. Please visit the MAC United Registration Tab to register. Payment is done via credit card, PayPal, or another method specified by the website.

Are spots limited?

Registration will be open until the end of March. We highly encourage parents to register their kids and pay the fees online as early as possible so we can register teams with CMSA.  If we don’t have enough players, then we won’t be able to make teams, register them with CMSA and start try-outs in a timely manner.

What equipment do I need?

MAC United will provide players with a soccer kit, including jerseys, shorts, and socks. Players can wear either running shoes or cleats, along with shin guards.

Team jerseys will be provided for games. Jerseys for U4 to U6 players are sponsored by Tim Hortons, while U7-U9 jerseys are sponsored by Shane Homes. For U10 to U19 teams, MAC United will provide jerseys, shorts, and socks.

Players in the U11+ age group will need a CMSA card to play in CMSA-regulated games. More details about CMSA cards will be shared with parents via email once the season has started.

Can I Coach?

Yes! We are always looking for coaches and assistant coaches. As a club that values community involvement, we truly appreciate parents volunteering with us. It’s also a great chance for parents to spend quality time with their kids on the field. The club will cover all training fees and any CMSA-required courses for parents who want to become coaches. If you're interested, please email us at info@mac-united.ca.

Applying for a Subsidy

To overcome any financial barriers that could prevent kids from playing an organized sport, great organizations like Kidsport offer assistance! Please check out Kidsport website for more info.  If you are eligible, you can apply online or fill out the hard copy attached. Parents are required to send in the form to Kidsport and to upload any necessary documents for the application.

Please note that you will be required to pay up front and then if you are eligible and we do receive the funds from Kidsport we will reimburse you.

The application for KidSport funds is available below for families that require financial discounts by clicking in the buttons below.
